The Circuit week is over, this year it was 3 shows for us, Killarney and Tralee in Kerry and Limerick Show in Adare, Co. Limerick.
Our Dachshund, Ir Ch Nice One from Vitoraz to Gulliagh, had the most successful week, with three Best of Breeds, and then got placed fourth, third and fourth again, under group judges Mrs Elizabeth Gonzalez from Gibralter, Mrs Zsuzsanna Petik from Hungary and Mr Francesco Cochetti from Italy respectively, never being placed behind the other two Wire varieties. After those results, we believe she has qualified for the Irish Showdog of the Year, the top four dogs in each group compete together, the results are calculated from September 1st to August 31st. For this calender year, she is currently in second place in her group.
Gulliagh Corrig also had a good week, with a Reserve Green Star in Limerick from a very large entry under Mr Andrew Brace, while had two second in Opens at the other two shows, in very big classes.
